'Larger than Life' Sculptures step into Metrocentre

Be on the lookout next time you're shopping in Metrocentre as a series of giganticised sculptures of shoppers past and present will be popping up throughout the malls between April and October.
 

The 'Larger than Life' sculptures will be unveiled on the 25th of every month and will stay here forever, representing our first 25 years as the 'Larger than Life' shopping centre. The sculptures, developed by local companies Hedley McEwan and Centre Design, see shoppers over the last quarter of a decade but not your straight-forward replicas of real people, we've produced sculptures of stature and drama.
